Empirical evidence suggests that the primary difference between objectification and excitement is whether or not she found you attractive before she caught you admiring her physique and that she’s going to brag to her friends about it either way.

Nope. It’s just something I’ve noticed over the years that came to mind because somebody somewhere said something. We wuz tangentially discussin’ genes and stuff as catalysts for the events that become a life’s most enduring memories, and the wonderfully hopeless romanticism that arises from having genes that fall madly in love several times a day. But the same genes in a less attractive man get him labeled a creep, which pretty much wipes out any chance of wonderfully hopeless romanticism in his life. Which is sad, to be betrayed like that by one’s own genes. Nobody loves an ugly horndog.
