I didn’t know until tonight that there was such a thing as lobster that doesn’t suck. I never bothered cooking it myself because that I’ve had was like chewing a tasteless bicycle tire, but a wonderful client sent us some filet mignons and lobster tails so I gave it a go. Now I know what all the fuss is about.

The best lobsters can be found in News Brunswick in Canada. So when ever we come from New foundland, we make sure to buy the lobsters from New Brunswick. They taste so good.

πŸ™‚ Thanks! I poached the tails in Beurre Monte. I’ve cooked other fish and seafood that way but this was my first go at a lobster. I’m just glad I didn’t screw it up! πŸ˜€

It very well could be! On the other hand, keeping generous clients very happy might some day result in still more lobster showing up on the porch. πŸ™‚

One of the few times I’ve had lobster was on a yacht in the Bay Islands. A guy in a motorboat sold us several small ones for a dollar each. We fried them up with garlic and butter. Delicious.
